Recovery Scoring      (jump to Full Service Collections or Early Intervention)

Information is Power!

For the last hundred years or so, the collection business has been using the same formula: go after the freshest, highest balances first and work your way down the list. Thanks to technology and innovation, that era has ended.

A partnership between IPS, DAKCS and the credit bureaus Experian and TransUnion now brings you the most powerful collection tool that has ever been available to end users: Recovery Scoring. With scoring, you will benefit from the greatest competitive advantage in the industry!

Scoring puts the most relevant information from the full credit bureau report into your hands at a fraction of the price. Picture this: your in-house customer service team submits a list of accounts for scoring. Within a few hours, they have the results which allow them to instantly prioritize past due accounts not by balance or age, but by the actual likelihood of recovery.

That bears repeating. You will now be able to tell, with minimum effort and just pennies per account, which ones will pay voluntarily, which ones can be compelled to pay, and perhaps most important, which ones will never pay. Now, cherry pick the accounts that you know will pay, and immediately send off the difficult accounts to your collection agencies to be worked as soon as possible. You will instantly see improved recoveries in house, and begin saving possibly thousands of dollars in collection fees.

Along with a number score, you get the bureau’s most recent information on all of these categories:

  • Open Credit Lines (credit cards, lines of credit, mortgages, etc)
  • Latest Phone, Latest Address, Place of Employment
  • Bankruptcy, Derogatory Information, Credit Summary

Format: Choose between a convenient web interface or xml data for use in your proprietary account system.

Screen Shots:

#1: The summary of score batches from the web interface, showing all batches from a user-defined time period by date and number of accounts.

#2: A specific score detail report, showing the account owner's name, numerical score, available credit snapshot and deceased/bankruptcy information. Notice the links to payment by credit card or check - these can be seamlessly integrated into your interface so it is literally as easy as clicking a link to a fully populated payment screen. Just enter the account number and hit submit!

#3: A more in-depth report on the same individual, showing location, employment, credit, alternate phones and credit attributes, among other metrics.
